When trying to land, my CoDrone EDU crashes to the ground instead of softly landing.

CoDrone EDUs come with a soft land and an emergency stop feature.

If your CoDrone EDU crashes to the ground when it was expected to land softly:

  1. First, ensure that you are not accidentally engaging the emergency stop feature:
    1. To land softly, press and hold the L1 button only. Do not touch the throttle while landing.
    2. To emergency stop, throttle-down with the left analog stick while holding the L1 button.
  2. If this is not the issue, please check for any firmware updates on the drone.
  3. If you continue to experience issues after updating the firmware, please contact us for assistance.
