I can't bind the RX to the RubiQ Drone

Common reasons why you may be unable to bind your receiver.

Carefully follow Step 1 of your RubiQ Configuration Guide on the Digital Resource Portal. Please use the steps provided within your course, as these are the most up-to-date instructions for your specific RubiQ and radio controller.

If you are unable to bind after following the configuration guide, here are some common issues to check:

  1. Double-check that the RubiQ is unplugged from the battery and USB cable except when instructed otherwise in the configuration steps. The RubiQ needs to be connected and disconnected from power at very specific points during the configuration process.
  2. Hold the bind button using a non-conductive tool (such as the antenna tube) for exactly the amount of time listed in the configuration guide. Letting go too soon will cause the bind to fail. Holding the button for too long will switch your receiver to the incorrect bind mode.
  3. If the LED on your receiver is blue, then you have entered the incorrect bind mode. Please follow the instructions to reset the RX to PPM mode in Step 1 of your configuration guide.
