The channel bars in INAV's Receiver tab may be mapped incorrectly.
This article applies to RubiQ 1.0, RubiQ 1.5 and RubiQ 2.0 (Taranis Q X7).
For help connecting RubiQ 2.0 (Taranis X9 Lite) to the RubiQ Configurator, click here.
If the channels aren’t mapped correctly:
Switch the Channel Map according to your radio controller:
- X9D: TAER1234 (Throttle, Aileron, Elevator, Rudder)
- Q X7: AETR1234/Default (Aileron, Elevator, Throttle, Rudder)
Press Save, then test the sticks again.
If the bars aren’t moving in INAV:
The bind was unsuccessful. Return to Step 1 of the configuration guide and run through the binding process again.
- RubiQ 1.0 or 1.5: Bind the RX
- RubiQ 2.0 (Q X7): Bind the RX
If you continue to experience issues:
Check that you’re using the correct version of INAV. You must download INAV directly from https://rubiq.edventures.com/file-downloads/, rather than the Chrome Web Store, to avoid automatic updates that make INAV incompatible with RubiQ’s firmware.
- Early RubiQ’s with the vertical red and black bullet motor connectors are only compatible with version 1.6.2.
- More recent RubiQ’s with the horizontal yellow motor connectors will only work with version 1.9.3.
