The drone is flying erratically.

If RubiQ is flying erratically, check on the flight sensors and hardware.

Check Flight Mode:

Make sure Angle Mode is engaged to ensure self-leveling.

Recalibrate the gyro sensor:

Set the drone on a flatter surface and plug the battery in again.

Check the prop orientation:

Make sure that the props are installed correctly using this diagram:

Verify the motor rotation:

Visit the Verify Motor Rotation step of the configuration guide for your version of RubiQ:

Check screws:

Check all screws and make sure the hardware is tight on each arm.

Recalibrate the accelerometer:

Check the magnetic declination:

Visit the Set Magnetic Declination step of the configuration guide for your version of RubiQ:

Inspect the motors:

If the motors are nicked or the wires are severed, replace them. Visit our drone parts collection to order replacement parts.
