If RubiQ is flying erratically, check on the flight sensors and hardware.
Check Flight Mode:
Make sure Angle Mode is engaged to ensure self-leveling.

- RubiQ 1.0 or 1.5: Verify AUX Channels
- RubiQ 2.0 (Q X7): Verify AUX Channels
- RubiQ 2.0 (X9 Lite): Verify AUX Channels
Recalibrate the gyro sensor:
Set the drone on a flatter surface and plug the battery in again.
Check the prop orientation:
Make sure that the props are installed correctly using this diagram:
Verify the motor rotation:

- RubiQ 1.0 or 1.5: Verify Motor Rotation
- RubiQ 2.0 (Q X7): Verify Motor Rotation
- RubiQ 2.0 (X9 Lite): Verify Motor Rotation
Check screws:
Check all screws and make sure the hardware is tight on each arm.
Recalibrate the accelerometer:
Visit the Calibrate Accelerometer step of the configuration guide for your version of RubiQ:
- RubiQ 1.0 or 1.5: Calibrate Accelerometer
- RubiQ 2.0 (Q X7): Calibrate Accelerometer
- RubiQ 2.0 (X9 Lite): Calibrate Accelerometer
Check the magnetic declination:
Visit the Set Magnetic Declination step of the configuration guide for your version of RubiQ:
- RubiQ 1.0 or 1.5: Set Magnetic Declination
- RubiQ 2.0 (Q X7): Set Magnetic Declination
- RubiQ 2.0 (X9 Lite): Set Magnetic Declination
Inspect the motors:
