If the RubiQ drone won't arm, check your switches and calibration.
If RubiQ cannot arm or fly:
Please review the configuration guide from the beginning to ensure that every step has been completed. RubiQ cannot be armed or fly unless you have fully completed the process.
To return to the configuration guide, choose your RubiQ version below:
- RubiQ 1.0 or 1.5 (April 2018 and prior): Configuration Guide
- RubiQ 2.0 (Q X7) (May 2018 - July 2020): Configuration Guide
- RubiQ 2.0 (X9 Lite) (August 2020 - present): Configuration Guide
If you have completed all configuration steps and the drone still won't arm, please check the following:
Check the GPS indicator lights:
Since GPS Lock is enabled, RubiQ will not arm unless she’s connected to 7 or more satellites and has obtained 3D lock. Because satellite signals are blocked inside, the drone won’t be able to arm until you take it outside.
To verify the drone's LEDs, visit the configuration guide for your version of RubiQ:
- RubiQ 1.0 or 1.5: Verify LEDs
- RubiQ 2.0 (Q X7): Verify LEDs
- RubiQ 2.0 (X9 Lite): Verify LEDs
Check the switch positions:
Make sure both Position Hold and Return to Launch/Home are deactivated. Either one will prevent RubiQ from arming.
To review these functions, visit the configuration guide for your version of RubiQ:
- RubiQ 1.0 or 1.5: Verify AUX Channels
- RubiQ 2.0 (Q X7): Verify AUX Channels
- RubiQ 2.0 (X9 Lite): Verify AUX Channels
Check the compass and accelerometer:
Review the pre-arming checks for your version of RubiQ to ensure that the compass and accelerometer are configured correctly. If they are not, return to the appropriate steps in your configuration guide to reconfigure them.
- RubiQ 1.0 or 1.5: Pre-Arming Check
- RubiQ 2.0 (Q X7): Pre-Arming Check
- RubiQ 2.0 (X9 Lite): Pre-Arming Check
